Upcoming movie Dial 100’s trailer was released on Tuesday. In the movie, actor Manoj Bajpayee played the role of an emergency call operator.
Coming to the trailer, Manoj Bajpayee acting as Nikhil Sood doing his shift in a control room just like other days. He ends the day with a call on which he gets the creeps. Then he struggles to know the strange nature behind the call, then he finds himself stuck within the situation. It is just like the high-stakes situation of life and death. His son and wife are taken hostage by Neena Gupta, playing the role of a troubled woman who acts out of deep distress. Neena Gupta playing the role of Seema Palwa lost her child due to some reasons. But she thinks a call operator is responsible for the tragedy. The trailer is similar to the plot setup of ‘The Call’, a physiological thriller movie by Halle Berry in 2013.
In a statement, Manoj Bajpayee said about the film that “Dial 100 is a unique film full of lots of turns and twists that will engage viewers till the end. Feeling kicked on the fact that its announcement has generated too much excitement and interest. Dial 100 was a great experience for me. I am sure that the audience will also feel the same after watching it.”
Dial 100’s director Rensil D’Silva said, “When we started to make this film on the story that revolves around one night, we ensured that it would never be a dull moment. That is what the film ‘Dial 100’ promises itself from beginning to end. It is all about an entertaining thriller and suspense with stellar performances of actors, an effective engaging narrative, and jaw-dropping moments.”
Dial 100’s premiere is set for August 6 on ZEE5, starring Sakshi Tanwar and Neena Gupta in important roles.
